About Us
We are probably one of the oldest dental clinics in Surat city with licensed dental practitioners. Starting from 1945 when Dr. Jal M Lafa, who graduated from Karachi Dental College ( Second dental college in India then – now in Pakistan ) and started his clinic in Bhagatadav area of Surat. He was the first Indian qualified Dental Surgeon of Gujarat having registration # A – 1. He served the people of this city for almost 35 years before retiring in 1979.
His legacy was continued there after by Dr. Dilip Vora , who graduated from
Nair Dental College , Mumbai in 1975 and joined Dr. Lafa. He worked with Dr. Lafa And simultaneously expanded the range of his services by another clinic in Surat – at VED Road. In the year 2000 he started this ultra modern dental clinic at Adajan Road having floor space of about 1000 sqft , 3 dental operatories and a full mouth x-ray machine ( i.e. OPG ). He has been working as fulltime dentist since last 35 years.
In 2007 Dr. Dilip Vora’s nephew Dr. Rahul Vora joined the team. Dr. Rahul Vora Graduated in 2005 from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore and then further studied at University of California, Los Angeles for his advanced training in Dentistry. Young Dr. Vora has opted to work at this clinic in Surat, despite having an opportunity in USA, just because of his love for this city and its people.
Along with Dr. Vora senior and junior we have a team of other dental specialists AND consultants who regularly come and address special need of our patients at DENT X DENTAL.
In our team at DENT X DENTAL we have a wonderful front office and back office staff and assistants to great and treat you with respect. We also have very skillful Dental Technicians and Laboratory workers at our disposal to prepare all kinds of prosthesis in least time with highest accuracy.
